Early in the morning on 3 December, Quebec police forces intercepted people buying supplies for the Cross cell and located Cross. This memorandum offers a detailed update on the situation. These notes were often typed on small scraps of paper in ten or twenty minute intervals to keep the Task Force constantly updated. Tension permeates the notes, as everyone was in a “cautious mood” concerning Demers and Merglers negotiations with the kidnappers.
