The Director of Security and Intelligence wrote that his agency had decided to focus on the 1930s, and 1937-38 in particular. He requested for any additional materials, particularly photographs, from that period that could be "additional collateral" and aid the investigation. However, he acknowledged that the availability of such resources may be sparse.
