Soviets agents were often issued cryptonyms (a code word) related to their profession, hobby, description, etc. Despite being heavily redacted, Lees noted that investigators may have been basing their search on the wrong word, and a new lead should be kept in mind when determining individuals that could be Soviet spies within the Canadian government.
