A letter from a member of the public to Prime Minister Joe Clark urged the Prime Minister to make the full contents of Feather Bed available to the public and the media ahead of the 1980 federal election. Prior news coverage had speculated that “Operation Featherbed” contained damaging information about the Trudeau Government and members of the Liberal Party. Bowser argued that Canadians deserved to know the full truth of the Feather Bed operations under the previous Liberal governments.
