15 September 1966: OECD to External - Update from ABM Meetings

Following meetings discussing ABMs, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) delegation informed Ottawa by telegram that the U.S. had no current plans to deploy an ABM system. While it was noted that Washington would have the capacity to do so by 1971, there were no plans beyond research and development in 1966.
