18 November 1965: HYDRA Message Length
Indeed, the misfit of ACP 127C and STRAD for the long messages passed over the HYDRA network had also been identified by Major R.E. MacNintch, the Commanding Officer at Carp. In this letter to P.D. Smith, MacNintch details a “progressive decrease in efficiency as message length increases.”
