26 August 1960: Leased Landline Circuits Priority of Restoration

In this minute sheet referred to Sigs 2A, W.E. Grant (RC Sigs) asks that the CBNRC be consulted on the priority of restoration of their circuits. Grant notes that the restoration of cable and radio circuits between the U.K., Canada, and the U.S. should be the highest priority of restoration – while circuits to wireless intercept stations should be the last to be restored. The attached list of army leased landlines and priority of restoration shows that HYDRA circuits (labeled “Communications Research”) were “Priority I.”
