27 May 1965: Record of Meeting: Relocation of HYDRA Relay and Radio Centre

As noted, the HYDRA move ran into the bureaucratic reshuffle that came with the integration of the services – and many of the planning and implementation tasks were to be carried out by new directorates. A series of meetings was held throughout 1965 to review and confirm all of the details related to the HYDRA move. The record of the second meeting indicates that items of discussion were: engineering issues, handling of Tripartite Alerts Messages, EDC Equipment for Alerts circuit, engineering and installations staff, the Hydra control position (within the facility at Carp), Tributary station equipment and circuit information, manning, procedure implications, unprotected RTT Circuits, traffic engineering, programming of STRAD, and the date for next meeting.

Note that the record of the first meeting was missing from the original archival volume.
