Sharpe’s 1963 visit seems to have been somewhat more productive – as this letter and summary suggest. The Alerts “black box” had been designed, and Sharpe confirmed that the “modified handling of Hydra precedences was satisfactory.” Radio and encryption equipment was also discussed.
