7 January 1954: Draft Note to State Department

This message from the office of the Secretary of State for External Affairs to the head the Canadian Embassy in Washington requests greater transparency from John Foster Dulles, the US Secretary of State. Noting that investigations into subversive activities in the United States sometimes produce evidence regarding Canadian citizens, it requests that all evidence of this nature be made available to the Canadian Government.
