25 July 1957: Awaiting Reply
This summary memo describes the various issues concerning the April 10 note, and indicates that, although there were some revisions made following the Canadian suggestions, the exact reason for the extended delay is still unknown. Also attached is an updated memorandum, cleared by the Commissioner of the RCMP, concerning possible reactions to the US reply.
