CANAIRHED to CANAIRLANT, October 26th

CANAIRHED suggested that CANAIRLANT give further consideration to “dispersing” forces because of the amount of time and coordination such action would take, and because the Canadians did not want to be caught unawares should conflict break out. Forces at Greenwood and Summerside stations would be exempt from this dispersal because their location made attack unlikely. Consideration was also to be given to how long a state of vigilance would be required to be maintained, and the difficulties concerned.
