November 2 - November 6 (Expenditure)

On November 2nd, 1962, the Canadian Air Command in Halifax received a cable from CANAVHED, reporting on the expenditure of sonobuoys and noted that it should maintain sufficient war reserves (see CDNW12393). For more information about Canada’s sonobuoys expenditure after November 2nd, 1962, refer to document CDNW12430. Another cable from November 6th, 1962, from the Canadian Air Force Headquarters instructed Halifax to keep the fuel expenditure “within the fiscal year allowances” but “allow for cushion” just in case (see CDNW12395).
