About the Author
Zoe Mason is an MA student in the Department of History at the University of Toronto.
While her main research interests focus on American foreign policy and international atomic policy during the Cold War, Zoe is also deeply interested in Canadian history, and particularly Canada in the World Wars. She formerly worked as an exhibitions assistant at the Juno Beach Centre, Canada's Second World War museum in Normandy, France.
Zoe is a recent recipient of the Eisenhower Foundation's Research Travel Grant and presented her master's research at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.
