Location(s): Seven routes, two of which do not cross into Canadian airspace. Routes departing from Biggs AFB, Ellsworth AFB, Altus AFB, Bergstrum AFB, Wright Patterson AFB, Blythville AFB, Griffis AFB.

Purpose: This operation was part of the SAC’s airborne alert indoctrination plan, aimed at providing the SAC with an airborne Command Post in times of national emergency.
