18 December 1950: Pearson to St. Laurent

Secretary of State for External Affairs Lester B. Pearson writes to Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent from the New York about the situation in Korea. Pearson writes that there is a “growing acceptance” of the inevitability of general war, reflecting the urgent atmosphere at the Department and among other diplomats.
