EX-3597 & NDO 708 Hume Wrong Messages to Tommy Stone & Herbert Norman (via Group Captain Jones and General Clark) with cover note from George Glazebrook, 9 October 1945

Acting Undersecretary of State for External Affairs Hume Wrong advised Norman to accept the invitation to work on General Thorpe's counterintelligence staff. Wrong did, however, warn Norman that he might be needed in connection with the Far Eastern Advisory Commission, so he should leave the duration of his assignment "unsettled."
