EX-2967 Message for Peter Wilson, Herbert Norman to Tommy Stone, 15 August 1945
Canada's diplomatic corps responded favourably to Wilson's suggestion. Norman would travel to the Philippines in August 1945 to assist with repatriation work, "with the possibility held open of proceeding to Japan later if and when [Wilson's] proposal materializes."
