Description

Note pertaining to a discussion between Finch and Mr. Derclouds of CN/CP pertaining to Telex facilities within Canada. Derclouds stated that all transatlantic telex calls within Canada were routed through Montreal. Telex calls are normally routed over CANTAT, but could be routed over any number of cable routes, including through the United States to Europe. Derclouds also stated that the army could arrange to receive preferential (priority) treatment. Finch notes that the Ottawa Traffic Centre (Leitrim) already has this priority treatment through their OTC-Montreal-LTC link.
