14 December 1962: Radiation Casualty Estimation

This file includes a radiation casualty estimation report produced by the Defence Research Board. Scientists in the DRB wanted to create a system that could provide quick and accurate estimation of civilian and military casualties in the event of a nuclear attack on Canada. Using information about the size and force of known nuclear weapons, DRB scientists theorized the reporting system for civil defence purposes.
