This package consists of official Government of Canada "Schuman, Thomas David" files dated between 1974-12-01 - 1976-11-15. Bezmenov's cover identity was quickly blown, and these records touch on a sensationalized account of his defection that he gave to the Vancouver Sun. Soviet press officers openly denounced Bezmenov's radio broadcasts as "short wave lies."
