The department W M al o interested Is Mr. Dalles' recent statement on this matter, and did In fact preprre a paper on the subject for the Prime Minister on the occasion of Mr. Dulles' visit to Ottawa. A copy of this department's paper Is attadhed for your Information. Unfortunately, your notes reached us too late to be Incorporated in our paper, but I hare brought them to the attention of our Minister, so th?t he may hare a fuller understanding of the Implications of the U.S. proposal from Canada's point of wiew. 2.
