Indeed, we are already enjoying these benefi to some extent in that the second channel between L.T.C. .T.C. which we ordered on behalf of G.CH.Q. in November, 1962, provided at the reduced rate for a second channel of £18,000 per annum, as against the full rate of £2If,000 per annim. 2. The Post Office has agreed, so far as they are ccseemed, that if other trans-Atlantic cable telegraph circuits i»»ed I .1. were ordered centrally, and were also switched and O.T.C, as necessary, to the appropriate tails, tbeee ot^er circuits would also be charged at the reduced tarif 00 for a third channel, £12,000 for a fourth, £9,000 for a fifth, and £6,000 per channel thereafter. *« 3.
