I t could then be t r a n s p o r t e d to Canada by RCAF a i r f r e i g h t . This would r e s u l t i n a saving o f $7,000 and one y e a r e a r l i e r d e l i v e r y . P a r a 6. TOR 7 equipment i s now i n transhipment from Debert to Carp. I n s t a l l a t i o n d a t e i s dependent on 701 Comm Sqn. Paras 7, 8 and 9. VFCT equipment i s now o u t to c o n t r a c t and w i l l be a v a i l a b l e e i t h e r Dec/65 o r J a n / 6 6 . However a s t h e c a r r i e r f a c i l i t y w i l l n o t b e a v a i l a b l e u n t i l n e x t y e a r i t i s understood t h a t arrangements a r e b e i n g made with' B e l l Telephone Co. to p r o v i d e a d d i t i o n a l c i r c u i t s o u t of t h e B e l l r e p e a t e r a t Carp s u f f i c i e n t to meet a l l Hydra r e q u i r e m e n t s . A d d i t i o n a l cable i s being l a i d from Carp to t h e r e p e a t e r t o p r o v i d e the n e c e s s a r y a d d i t i o n a l l i n e p a i r s . I t i s understood t h a t -the t r a n s f e r of a l l t e l e g r a p h f a c i l i t i e s could be completed by Jan/66 l e a v i n g only t h e r a d i o r e c e i v e f a c i l i t i e s a t OWS, u n t i l the completion of t h e a n t e n n a s , r e f para 2.
