With reference to our telephone conversation of 13th Hayf you
are apparently aware of a DND plan to relocate the Hydra relay and radio
centre from Leitrim to Carp* The date for the transfer has not been
fixed but is likely to occur late 1965 ©* early I966*
When the transfer does occur* certadjl technical change® may be
necessary in the teletype equipments and circuits thai work into on
through the Hydra system* . v

As all circuits are leased from cornraercial carriers (Bell* CN,
CP) any technical changes waist be ordered by the authority which pays
for the circuit concerned.
