May 10, I963.

Dear

Q£S^J%

Thank you for your letter of May 1, 1963> together with the summary
of the discussions which we had on Thursday, April 18, 1963.
I can find very few discrepancies in the summary except, perhaps,
with reference to PICCOLO in paragraph 6(b) where the position really
is that we would like to send an engineer with the PICCOLO equipment
some time during the Summer and that it was hoped that it would be
possible to arrange for a visit of Mr. Robin, Chief Engineer, Diplomatic
Wireless Service, at about the same time.
Also in paragraph 7(cQ - what had previously been stated here was
that it is hoped it will be possible to design a multi-channel PICCOLO
system to uss on the circuit.
I realise these are minor points, but Mr. Robin is, at present,
very fully committed and it is almost impossible to make a firm date
for his visit.
I was also very happy to renew our acquaintance and, as usual,
very much enjoyed my short visit.
Yours sincerely,

(W.J. Shjbpe)
