The Secretary of State presents his compliments to
Their Excellencies and Messieurs the Chiefs of Mission of
the Governments Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty and
has the honor to inform the Chiefs of Mission that the
Ambassador of the Turkish Republic notified the Secretary
of State by note No. 937-57 of March 27, 1956, which was
received by the Department of State on March 29, 1956,
that the Turkish Government considers itself bound by the
terms of the Agreement Between the Parties to the North
Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation Regarding Atomic Information signed at Paris June 22, 1955.
In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3 of
Article VI of the Agreement Between the Parties to the
North Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation Regarding Atomic
Information, the Secretary of State further informs the
Chiefs of Mission that the aforementioned Agreement
entered into force on March 29, 1956, pursuant to the
provisions of paragraph 1 of Article VI thereof.
