"THE NATO AGREEMENT FOR COOPERATION REGARDING ATOMIC INFORMATION
WENT INTO FORCE ON (BLANK DATE), WITH THE COMPLETION OF NOTIFICATIONS BY ALL NATO GOVERNMENTS THAT THEY WERE BOUND BY THE TERMS
OF THE AGREEMENT*

THE AGREEMENT* WHICH WAS SIGNED IN PARIS ON

BY REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NATO NATIONS, PROVIDES THAT

THE UNITED STATES AND OTHER NATO MEMBERS MAY *MAKE VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF ATOMIC INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO THE ORGANIZATION.

IN

THIS VAY THE DEFENSE PLANS OF THE NATO MILITARY AUTHORITIES MAY BE
DEVELOPED, TAKING FULL ACCOUNT OF MODERN DEVELOPMENTS IN WEAPONS
AND TECHNIQUES AND OF THE NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES OF A POTENTIAL

WHETHER OR NOT SUCH A STATEMENT SHOULD BE HADE IN ADDITION TO TME
TEXT OF THE RELEASE ITSELF.

TME PROPOSED RELEASE.

WILL NOTIFY NATO WHE ALL COUNTRIES HAVE RATIFIED THE AGREEMENT AFTER
VMICH NATO VILL PROPOSE A COMMON DATE OF RELEASE TO ALL DELEGATIONS
IN ORDER THAT NATIONAL RELEASES VILL COINCIDE WITH TME NATO
