The C_i-i.IRM.iN reminded the Council that the accountability .
procedure for transfer by the United States of atomic information to
NATO set out. in C-M(55)78 had been forwarded to the Council in
implementation of two articles of the Agreement regarding Atomic
Information which members of the Council- had signed on behalf of
their' governments on 22nd June.

12.- The UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE said that, while the
document before them dealt only with the question of procedureyhe
would like to take the opportunity of reminding the Council that .
Parliamentary action was in some cases required to implement.the
Agreement regarding Atomic Information, and to urge PermanentRepresentatives to do what they could.to ensure that the necessary
action was taken as quickly as possible.
