ROBINSON Questions and Answers for the House of Commons Attached are questions and proposed answers on the following subjects for Mr. Martin's use in the House: (a) ABMs - In view of the shortness of time, the text of the questions and the answers are the same as those prepared for the Prime Minister's press conference. As agreed, it might be useful to include the transcript of the Prime Minister's comments on ABMs at the Friday press conference; (b) NORAD - We have attempted to stick as closely as possible to the comments which have been made so far on this matter by Mr. Martin; (c) Modernization of Bomber Defences - I discussed the suggested answer with Mr. Grant in the office of the Minister of National Defence who agrees with the line taken. He will be preparing something similar for the Acting Minister of Defence who for the moment at least will be Mr. Drury. Mr. Cadieux had arranged for Mr. Hellyer to act on his behalf in his absence but Mr. Hellyer is now sick and will not be available for the time being.
