On September 27 the Secretary, JIC, Instructed the JIS
to proceed to review ACAI 11 aad ACAI 12 In the l i g h t of eoaaeata
froa the Standing Group of the NATO and of recent events In Korea.
The JIS atteapted to draft a new Object for tha revision of ACAI 11
and ACAI 12. As agreement proved inposeible, the problem was
/
referred to the JIC on September 30.
Other Projects

In addition, the JIS continued to produce a daily
situation report on the war in Korea, and u n t i l September 15 the
Amy aoabor continued to produce daily overlay naps for tha Prime
Minister, the Minister of Rational Defence and the Secretary of
the Chiefs 1 of Staff Coaaittee. On instructions froa the JIC, the
production of further overlay nape waa discontinued.
