A request has been m ade by the Em bassy of the U .S.S.R . in C anada for this Force to ascertain the present w hereabouts of Igor Sergelevitch G ouzenko and his w ife, Svetlana G ouzenko, who disappeared from O ttaw a, O ntario, on the 7th instant, together w ith their son, Andrei, who is tw enty-one m onths of age# Prior to tho disappearance of U r. G ouzenko and 2. hie fam ily he was em ployed in a clerical capacity in the Soviet Em bassy, and the authorities concerned are m ost anxious to ascertain the present w hereabouts of the persons referred to. According to the particulars at our disposal from the Em bassy, M r.
