W e havq been advised by the Soviet Em bassy
in O ttaw a that M r. and M rs, Igor Sergeievitch G ouzenko
disappeared from this city on the 7th instant and have
not been heard of since that tim e. Apparently prior
to his departure and according to the inform ation at
present at our disposal, M r. G ouzenko took w ith him an
unspecified am ount of stolen currency from the Em bassy.
