The C hairm an, C hiefs of Staff in a l etter •dated January 27 m ade the follow ing com m ents: "At present the C anadian m edical contribution to the C om m onw ealth forces in Korea is one fi el d am bulance, a fi el d dressing'station, a fi el d surgicalteam and a fi el d transfusion team . This represents the greater part of the m edical service of 1st C om m onw ealth D ivision. In view of this i tis the opinion of the C hief of G eneral Staff, w ith w hich Iagree, that C anada has m ade a sufficient contribution of m edical units to Korea, and that, therefore, we should, accept no further m edical com m itm ent."
