Attached is a translation of an article entitled "We Need Nuclear Weapons" written by editor Hermann Rasch of Per Mittag. a popular newspaper published in Dttsseldorf. The article appeared on September 6th. We understand that similar views were recently expressed by Herr Schroeder of the reputable newspaper Die Welt to the Imperial Defence College, in front of Prof. Meyer-Lindenberg of the Federal German Foreign Office who said later that the Government did not share all of Schroeder's views.
