The Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs has transmitted to the Ministry of Defence the information contained in the note of the Royal Swedish Embassy of 3rd October, 1953, concerning the flight of foreign airplanes above Swedish territory on 30th September this year. The competent Norwegian military authorities have made a thorough analysis of Norwegian flying operations on 30th September. Similarly the Norwegian flight leaders taking part in the mentioned exercises have been questioned. The result of the inquiries thus undertaken by the military authorities makes it clear that the flight above Swedish territory was not made by planes of Norwegian nationality or under Norwegian control.
