We have learned from NATIS that no procedure comparable to that
set out in the Joint Canada-U.S. Publicity Directive has been laid
down by the Council for the handling of publicity in connection with
NATO exercises.

As the problem seems to be one which involves all the NATO
Commands, we thought it best not to approach SHAPE to see whether
any such directives had been issued by them*
In the circumstances, it might be as well to direct your
inquiry to the Standing Group,
