CONIDEITIAL

OTTAWA, February 23, 1950.

My dear Strong,

I was disappointed in not boing able to
see you once mors before I loft London but, as you know,
my programme became telescoped because of my illness and
in any case I am sure that you were fully occupied. I
very much enjoyed my delayed visit to J.I.B. and the
chanco of meeting you and talking over questions of
common interest. I felt that the talks I had with various
officers in the J.I.B., while shorter than I would have
liked, were most interesting and helpful. One of the most
pleasant aspects of my year in the Ottawa J.I.B. was the
correspondence which I had with yourself and the constant
willingness of your Bureau to give us even more than the
help for which ve so often asked, I wan delighted with
the chance of being able to follow this up by personal
conversations.

As you Lnow, I ar now “once removed from
the J.I.B. here but hope to have the opportunity of keeping
in close touch with it and hope elso to have the pleasure
of welcoming to Ottawa yourself or any of your officers
who may be able to visit us.

with kind regards
Yours very sincerely.

(G. de T. Clazebrook)

General Lol.D. strong,
