I | GG/MG Ottawa, 6th March, 1943. No. 60 - Dear Herbert, I enclose, herewith, a copy of Canadian Censorship report on Conditions in Italy dated March 4th. I had your T.K. NC 643. The Canadian Army records show only country of birth. The Italians have been recorded separately and there is a total of about 275. There is no separate category for Yugoslavs who are included in a large group including most of the Central European countries. Furthermore, they are labelled according to the name of the country at the time when they were born there. There are, I think, 11 Serbs and about three Montenegrans. The Army records officer has promised to let me have the names of these two groups which I shall forward to you for any use they may have. I- have here the one dunnage bag of clothes which you left and Tommy has asked for the others. We will let you know when they are all collected.
