DRAFT AHSWER. TO BE GIVEN BY THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT
A No decision along the lines indicated by the
Honourable Member has been taken.

The whole question *

of the future of air traffic control is a complicated
one because of the growth of the volume of flying as
well as the great increase in speed of aircraft.
Intensive.research Is under way both in this country
and in the United States and close consultation Is
maintained between the working officials of the two
countries in regard to these problems.

The relation*

ship between military and civilian flying Is, of course,
involved as' well as the extent to which common use
