INFORMATION PROCEDURES FOR AGREEING THE NEW DRAFT " AGREEMENT Note ,by the Chairman Reference AC/228-WP/2 It seems probable that the procedures for agreeing on the new Draft Agreement for Co-operation Regarding Atomic Information will be similar to those adopted in connection with the earlier Agreement. Your attention is therefore drawn to C-M(55)3i} which shows the format used for agreeing on a text and for the final conclusion of the Agreement under the constitutional requirements of the individual member nations. 2„ It is the earnest hope of the United States Delegation that an early decision be reached on the Draft Agreement, in order to enable it to lie. before Congress for the necessary 60 days before that body adjourns for its summer recess.
