For your information 2. At Flag "A" is NATO document C-M(63)63 which has at Annex "A" US memorandum covering the draft of a new agreement for cooperation regarding atomic information (Annex "B" to C-M(63)63). This new agreement would supersede the agreement approved in 1955, Flag "C". At Flag "B" is a copy of a telegram from NATO Paris to External Affairs which advised that a new draft agreement was going to be considered and proposing the formation of a Working Group to handle discussions concerning the new agreement. Canada has agreed to the formation of this Group. 3. The JSWPC has been directed to examine the new draft and prepare comments. JAG and JSC have also been requested to provide comments, and when all comments have been received, they will be incorporated into a brief to be prepared for the guidance of the Canadian member of the Working Group. JSWPC and JAG have also been requested to indicate whether or not a DND team is recommended to be present at the discussions.
