I _ . * I With reference to our letter of April 7, I attach a copy of telegram No.919 of April 16 from the Embassy in Washington which contains the text of the United Kingdom's reply to the United States aide-memoire of March 10, 1959* You will note that the United Kingdom accepts the United States proposals and the Outline of Principles enclosed with it, subject to one point of detail. This appears in paragraph 3 of the United Kingdom aidememoire.
