Hon; Paul Hellyer (Trinity): 1 should like
to direct a question to the Minister of National
Defence. Can he inform the house \vhether
facilities for the -storage of nuclear warheads
are being constructed at North Bay? _

Hon.! D. S. Harkness (Minister' of National
Defence): This is a question which· I would
have to look into, Mr. Speaker, in order to
give a precise answer. There were, of course,
plans with regard. to construction at both
North Bay and La Macaza of facilities for
the storage of nuclear weapons. Whether they
have actually 'been constructed I am .not in
a position to say without looking. into the
·matter.
·

· Mr. Hellyer: I have a supplementary question. Perhaps: the associate minister might
have this information.at his finger
